In un mondo in cui tutto avviene velocemente, silenziose scorrono le acque dei Navigli, testimoni e protagoniste di grandi eventi della storia di questa città. E lo sferragliare dei tram arancio di inizio ‘900 accende l’acustica perfettamente in linea con le grandi metropoli.
L’occhio del turista, a Milano, è l’occhio più fortunato, perchè è predisposto con lo sguardo “all’insù”, potendo ammirare la città in tutte le sue sfumature, senza perdersi i lati contrastanti di una città tanto affascinante, quanto viva e vera. Milano con i suoi ristoranti tipici ed etnici, con i suoi hotel di design ed eleganti, la Milano underground e i suoi taxi gialli, Piazza Affari e il Vicolo dei Lavandai, la città immersa nel verde dei parchi storici e quella surreale delle viette di Brera, la Milano classica di Sant’Ambrogio e la Milano dello shopping e della moda di Corso Buenos Aires e del quadrilatero della moda.
Tutto questo non è solo una città, ma tante sensazioni da vivere sulla pelle, camminando a un passo più lento.
Good morning Milan
A rosy sunrise paints the sky of the still sleepy city of Milan, while the early morning noises can be heard from the streets, which are still to be occupied by traffic. Trails of croissant lead to bars and pastry shops, which have just opened and the lights of the houses which are turned on one by one, like little lights that come to life by themselves. Everything seems to be set in an unreal atmosphere, which soon will leave room for the busy day. Walking to the Centre of Milan around 8 o’clock in the morning, Gothic, of the Renaissance and classic elements can be appreciated along the streets. In a world where everything happens fast, Navigli waters flow quietly, witnesses and main characters of great events in the history of this city. The sound of the early 1900s Orange tram turns the acoustics on, perfectly according to the large metropolises manners.
The eyes of tourists, in Milan, are the luckiest ones, because they have the so-called-look “upward” and can admire the city in all its shades, without missing the contrasting sides of such a fascinating, alive and true city: Milan with its typical and ethnic restaurants, with its elegant and stylish hotel, the underground Milan with its yellow cabs, its Business Square, the Vicolo dei Lavandai, placed in the green of its historic parks and that surreal alleyways of Brera. It is not only a city, but many living feelings, walking slower.
Only in this way it is possible to enjoy the Italian metropolis at the fullest,
the city of Expo and theatre district, especially the Teatro Alla Scala.
